So we burst into colours, colours and carousels.

“Jackamo, you are seriously the best friend a girl could have. I can’t believe this is happening!” I yelled over the loud, and pretty terrible, warm-up band.
 
“What?” Jack mouthed.
 
I laughed and threw my arms around him, giving him a big hug. Jack had bought two tickets to Matias Aguayo (even though they sold out in ten minutes) and surprised me with one the night of the show. A week beforehand he had asked me to go to dinner. While chowing down on Mexican food, he slipped an envelope across the table and stared at me until I opened it.
 
An hour later we were standing in a packed little venue, with a bunch of hipster-looking people in their 20s. The warm-up said their goodbyes and left the stage. Jack and chatted and people-watched while the stage was being cleaned up and set up for Matias.
 
The passing minutes felt like hours as we waited for him to take the stage. My palms were slightly sweaty with anticipation. As soon as he took the stage and his smooth voice was singing “Rollerskate” Jack and I were moving to the beat, having the night of our lives.

today is my birthday (well it's after midnight so i guess it was yesterday) i got some really cute decorative pillows for my bed, a stila pigment pot,
and a big floppy beach hat from my parents. my sister got my a full-size door poster of one direction and a one direction beach towel hahaha
(we're going to florida this summer)
other than that nothing exciting happened
i watched silver linings playbook which was not as good as i expected
and we had hot dogs for dinner which i hate
bleh
i did have a giant ice cream sundae tho
